My name is Payton Miller, and I am an American Actor, Singer, Dancer, and Entrepreneur based in Charlotte, NC.One thing that excites me as a performer is working with other passionate artists. When a group of creatives can come together and produce something new, art is limitless! Collaboration is key to becoming a well-rounded artist and continuing to learn.Early in my career, I struggled with my artistic confidence. Standing up in front of my peers and being vulnerable was not an easy task. Now, I have found that the most extraordinary learning opportunities come out of failure. When you learn to release your fear of disapproval, you discover that YOU are the most significant element to setting your craft apart.One experience that stays with me is deciding to go to school for a BFA in Musical Theater at Western Carolina University. I was encouraged to create a backup plan, to find something solid to lean upon. Yet, taking the leap to pursue my passion each day of my life has been more fulfilling than any other choice I've made. And I cannot wait to see what is coming next!
